There are performances that are worth more than a win.
This is the case of the second place of Costanza Laliscia and Faiza de Montamel in the CEI1* 100 km staged last Saturday in Castellaneta Marina (TA) on the occasion of the Al Gawsit Endurance Cup.
The race saw over 30 combinations challenge each other on a technical and demaning course within the Stornara State Reserve of Castellaneta Marina.
Costanza managed the race flawlessly from start to finish under the saddle of an amazing Faiza de Montamel (Djin Lotois x Leila de Montamel from Halzig), a gray Arabian thoroughbred female, who at just seven years old brilliantly concludes her second CEI1*.
At an average speed of 19,057 km/h with a final lap at 21,409 km/h, Faiza de Montamel crosses the finish line in excellent condition with a perfect veterinary tag, without any alteration of any of the veterinary parameters.
“On the last lap I tried to go and take first place, but then I thought that Faiza at just seven years old had already given me a lot, I bet on her for the future, so in the last kilometers I wanted to preserve her. I was already very satisfied with her performance. ” Costanza comments as soon as the race is over, looking to the future with pride and confidence.
To enhance the splendid result of Costanza and Faiza de Montamel, Simone Gigante and Hadess El Fayad finished the CEI1* 100 km in ninth position at an average speed of 17,000 km/h, hitting the qualifying goal.
