There are performances that are worth more than a victory. This is the case of Costanza Laliscia’s ninth place riding Fara du Barthas at The Custodian of the two Holy Mosques Endurance Cup 2023.
The most important competitions on the world scene, the one staged on 4 March saw the best riders in the world compete for a total prize money of 15 million SAR – around 4 million Euros – on a 120 km track technical and challenging immersed in the evocative desert of AlUla, which gave all participants breathtaking landscapes and scenery from sunrise to sunset.
A masterful race for the 23-year-old rider from the Fuxiateam of Italia Endurance Stables & Academy who, together with Fara du Barthas, was the protagonist of a growing race that saw her climb position after position, 70th on the first lap, 38th on the second lap, 18th after the third lap and ninth at the finish line, thus entering for the second consecutive year in the Top 10.
Fara du Barthas, purebred Arabian gray female, at only 8 years old certainly did not disappoint the expectations, proving her great reliability, confirming her growth path even more on the rise and finishing the race in perfect conditions.
The combination from the Agello di Magione stable was the protagonist of a tactically impeccable test which saw them cross the finish line at an overall average of 16.773 km/h with a fourth lap at a formidable speed of 22.075 km/h which allowed the two to score the highest average speed in the last lap of the entire competition.
Skyrocketing satisfaction for the entire Fuxiateam of Italia Endurance Stables & Academy and the president Simona Zucchetta bears witness to it: “It was a weekend that we will surely remember. Following Costanza and Fara du Barthas kilometer after kilometer was exciting and seeing the great daily work transformed into such an exhilarating performance fills me with joy and pride. My greatest congratulations to the whole team for having, once again, brought Fuxiateam to the top in the world.”
