The Fuxiateam standard-bearer awaits a double commitment in the Netherlands, Thursday 7 September at the start of the continental event with the Italian national team and Saturday 9 in the CEI3* 160 km for the points of the FEI Endurance open riders world ranking
There is a new, exciting challenge that awaits Costanza Laliscia, the most victorious athlete in the history of Italian endurance. The appointment is for Thursday 7 September in Ermelo, in the Netherlands, on the occasion of the FEI Endurance European Senior Championship 2023, the absolute European Championship that will award the individual and team titles, which the 23-year-old rider from Perugia of the Fuxiateam of Italia Endurance Stables & Academy will face with the Italian national team jersey riding Emirat du Barthas, a 9-year-old gray Arabian thoroughbred gelding.
Costanza, in her fifth consecutive participation in the continental event and strengthened by a European title already achieved in 2019, will defend the blue colors together with Daniel Braido on Katim di Pegaso, Camilla Coppini on Ernest, Daniele Serioli on Jarnak dell’Orsetta, Carolina Tavassoli Asli on Carma du Barthas. Leading the Azzurri in the Dutch trip, starting from the team bronze achieved in the 2021 edition, will be the Chef d’equipe Arnaldo Torre, supported by the veterinarian Nicola Pilati and the head of the Endurance department of the Italian Equestrian Federation, Massimo Nova.
Over the traditional distance of 160 kilometres, Costanza Laliscia and Emirat du Barthas, who at 9 years old will be one of the youngest horses at the start, will compete against the other 77 combinations who will be representing 21 nations in Ermelo to compete for the titles won in 2021 by the Spanish Angel Soy Coll in the individual and by the Iberian selection in the team competition.
However, the trip to the Netherlands for the bearer of the Fuxiateam of Italia Endurance Stables & Academy will not be limited to the participation on Thursday 7 in the European Championship. In fact, on Saturday 9 September, Constanza will be in the race again, again in Ermelo but this time on the saddle of the 9-year-old Chestnut Arabian thoroughbred Etihad du Barthas, in an equally demanding CEI3* 160 km. Up for grabs are precious points for the FEI Endurance Open Riders World Ranking, the world order of merit of the year.
