The Ponyadi, an event of federal interest entirely dedicated to the world of ponies and young people, have become over the years a point of reference for equestrian sports and above all for children who compete in 22 different disciplines on their ponies.
A real army of almost 1200 ponies and over 1000 young people from all over Italy invaded the Arezzo Equestrian Center for the Ponyadi Kep Italia 2023, the “mini Olympics” dedicated to children, staged from 26 to 29 July.
This year also the Fuxiateam, representing the team from Umbria, fielded four young riders accompanied by their ponies.
After the four titles won at the Italian pony championships 2023 in Castiglione del Lago, the Fuxiateam also hits the spot at the Ponyadi by winning all three categories of the Endurance discipline.
In the Pony Elite 9 km, Vittoria Monetti, Italian champion in charge of the category, on the saddle of Salida climbs on the first step of the podium; in the Pony B 6 km, Aurora Laurenzi together with Salida conquers the gold medal thus reconfirming the 2023 Italian title in the category; in the Pony A 3 km, Massimo Cavallari on the saddle of Sirio climbs to the top step of the podium, winning the gold medal.
Thanks also to the wonderful results of the Fuxiateam, Umbria, led by the Chef d’Equipe Serena Fratini, conquers the second place in the team classification in the Pony Elite and in the Pony B and the third place in the Pony A.
The whole Fuxiateam is proud of its pupils and its Academy which day after day grows the new talents of the future of endurance, ad maiora!
